I love using props. Not only can they add support but some can also be used to add an extra challenge to your practice. Here's a list of my favorite props. If you don't have props yet or if you're not able to buy them look around your house for creative alternatives!
Mat
For my videos I use the rose quartz herbal yoga rug from Oko Living
What I love
Made from organic cotton with tree rubber for grip on the bottom
Plant dyed
Zero plastic packaging
Ethically made
Love the pink color for my website and videos
What I'm still getting used to
It's harder to grip during a vinyasa class but it does have bumps at the top and bottom to help
When I'm laying down the bumps make it a little less comfortable
I also love the Manduka Pro Mats. It's a great all around mat and it's ethically made in Germany. There's a thick version and a thin option.
My favorite value yoga mat is the Tapas Original 68in by Hugger Mugger. Exceptional quality especially for the price! And they're made in the USA.

Meditation Cushion
I made my meditation cushion but this is a very similar one from a great brand.
Zafu Meditation Cushion by Hugger Mugger

Cotton cover
Zipper so you can remove buckwheat hulls if it's too high
Eye Pillow
I made my eye pillow but this is a very similar one from Hugger Mugger.
What I love

Washable silk pillowcase
Filled with organic flaxseed
Sandbags
Sandbags are another great addition to your yoga practice. They can be used to keep things in place and help you feel grounded. Sandbags can be purchased on most of the sites mentioned above. 10 lbs is a good weight for most people.
